Location The Sultan Sands Island Resort Zanzibar is situated next to its sister resort, the Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa, on the beachfront of the wide, sparkling beaches of Kiwengwa in the east coast of Zanzibar.

Facilities The Sultan Sands Island Resort Zanzibar offers a main restaurant and a beach restaurant plus 2 bar/lounges. Leisure facilities which are shared with Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa include 2 pools, Oasis Spa*, fitness centre, floodlit tennis court*, table tennis, snooker, billiards and a children's playground and club. Water sports* include scuba diving and a water sports centre. *Various charges payable locally.

Accommodation The Sultan Sands Island Resort Zanzibar has 76 air-conditioned rooms with en suite shower, separate dressing room, ceiling fans, mini bar, hairdryer, telephone, safe, TV and verandah. Standard Pwani rooms (2 adults and 1 child) are the newly constructed rooms, they are on rising grounds in beautiful landscaped gardens, facing out to the Ocean. Sea front Bahari rooms (2 adults and 1 child) are positioned at the edge of the ocean with a sea view.
