An ideal short tour for visitors with limited time or for returning guests, combining the highlights of Upper Egypt with time in Cairo.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1 UK to Luxor - Fly from Heathrow to Luxor. On arrival transfer to the Mövenpick MS Hamees. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 Luxor to Esna - Morning visit to the East Bank with sights including the the temples of Karnak and Luxor, and the West Bank with the Valley of Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon, sail to Esna and stay overnight.

Day 3 Esna to Aswan - Sail to Edfu and on to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple in Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek, and the falcon god, Horus. Sail onwards to Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Aswan - Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and unfinished obelisk. In the afternoon enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5 Aswan to Cairo - Disembark the ship and transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Mercure Le Sphinx for the next 3 nights. During your stay in Cairo, you may sightsee independently or pre-book your excursions. Other hotels are also available.

Days 6-7 Cairo - Enjoy a further two nights in Cairo, with various excursions pre-bookable. Explore the Khan El Khallili Bazaar of the Pyramids at Giza. Day 8 Cairo to UK Transfer to Cairo airport for your return flight to the UK.
