Opinion The Hilton Chain’s newest property in Hurghada, the Long Beach Hotel provides modern and comfortable accommodation, with an enviable choice of facilities.

Location: Positioned directly on the Red Sea, with a private beach, the Hotel is just a 20-minute drive from the airport and Hurghada City Centre.

Rooms: 510 air-conditioned rooms, with pool or sea view, most with private balcony or terrace.All rooms offer satellite TV, telephone,mini fridge, hairdryer and safe. Non smoking rooms are available on request. The Hotel also features superior villa rooms (located close to the sea front and accommodating a maximum of 3 people), as well as family rooms, providing space for 2 adults and 2 children.

Cuisine: The Lotus Restaurant is the Hotel’s main restaurant, serving buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. A beach restaurant, specialising in fish and grills, and the Mediterranean Kitchen, complete the dining choices. Snacks and fresh juices are available at the pool bars.

Entertainment: Dance the night away at the Rendez- Vous disco.

Sport & Leisure: 4 pools, (2 heated in winter) including a children’s pool, 4 tennis courts and 2 squash courts (with air conditioning systems).The Hotel also offers a health club with gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and massage (pay locally).A games room and mini golf are available. A dive centre provides a choice of PADI dive courses, and for those preferring to stay on land, there is the possibility of golf and bowling in the area.

Three meals a day served buffet style in the main dining room. Full continental breakfast (04:30-07:00); Hilton Breakfast buffet (07:00-10:30); Lunch (12.00-15.30) & Dinner (18.30-22.30).
A credit of LE25 per person is available to guests who wish to dine at the Beach Restaurant at lunchtime, or in the Hotels’ À La Carte Restaurants in the evening.
• Morning snacks (10.30-12.00) served at the pool bar, afternoon cakes and snacks (15.30-18.30) and late bites (22.30-24.00) both served in the "Alpina" area.
