DAY 1
Fly from Heathrow to Bali, arriving the following day for two nights of relaxation at your chosen beach hotel.

DAY 4
Bali - Bima - Sape - Komodo
Depart from Denpasar Bali for a journey into the islands of the famed volcanic 'Ring of Fire'. Upon arrival in Bima transfer to Sape Harbour and embark by boat for Komodo Island. The boat is local Penisi style and has simple facilities but a private cabin. This is not a cruise ship but makes up for a lack of grandeur with charm and character. Overnight on board. Lunch and Dinner is inculded.

DAY 5
Komodo - Rinca
After breakfast on board your safari into the domain of the Komodo Dragon will begin with journey to Batununggul to see these impressice ancestors of ancients dinosaurs. Scientifically catergorised in 1912 as 'varanus komodoensis', they are the largest monitor lizards in the world growing up to 3 metres long. It is estimated that there are two thousand lizards on Komodo Island. The island is also a good place to observe bird life with cockatoos and megapod birds (megapodius reindwart) among others. In the afternoon cruise to Rinca Island. Overnight at the Ranger House or on board the boat. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included.

DAY 6
Rinca - Labuan Bajo
After breakfast there is the opportunity for trekking on Rinca Island, home to the deer, buffaloes, pigs and the occasional Komodo Dragon, so do stay observant. Swimming and snorkelling at Bidadari Island is included before sailing on to Labuan Bajo. Overnight at the Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge (or similar). Breakfast, Lunce and Dinner are included.

DAY 7
Labuan Bajo - Denpasar.
After breakfast there is a short sightseeing trip to visit the Batu Cermin Cave and the local market. Transfer then back to the airport for your flight back to Bali. On arrival, transfer to your chosen hotel for four (or more) nights of relaxation. Breakfast is included.

DAY 11
Return transfer to Bali Airport. Fly to Heathrow arriving the next day.
