Embark your
Victoria Cruises vessel early evening and familiarise yourself
with your surroundings before setting sail.
DAY 2
Today enjoy a fascinating shore excursion to Shibaozhai. Representing
one of the gems of Chinese architecture along the banks of the
Yangtze, a red pavilion hugs one side of the cliffs with its tall
yellow entrance gate elaborately decorated with lions and dragons.
DAY 3
This morning, you enter the most beautiful stretch of the Yangtze,
passing through the soaring limestone peaks of Qutang Gorge before
reaching Wu Gorge. Its dramatic slopes reach the towering heights
of Goddess Peak and the Peak of Immortals. Disembark your cruiser
for a journey up the Lesser Three Gorges, characterised by clear
waters, sheer cliffs, verdant vegetation and ancient hanging coffins.
This evening you will pass through the famous five-stage ship
lock. Once completed the Three Gorges Dam will be the largest
in the world and is truly an outstanding feat of modern engineering.
DAY 4
After breakfast a fascinating shore excursion will take you to
the site of the Three Gorges Dam to appreciate this remarkable
feat of engineering. Continue through the last and longest of
the Three Gorges before arriving in Yichang.

Victoria Katarina set a new standard in cruise ship design for
Yangtze River cruising when it was inaugurated in 2004. This deluxe
ship is constructed with Victoria Cruises personal touches blending
both modern and elegant architecture. The Victoria Katarina takes
luxury cruising on the Yangtze to a whole new level with its generous
cabin space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private balconies opening
up to breathtaking views. The Victoria Anna is the Yangtze's largest
and most luxurious ship. Facilities include two restaurants, two
elevators, a three-story atrium lobby, two lounges, three bars,
a gym, lecture room, library, beauty salon, massage room, and
gift shop. The Victoria Anna has 153 cabins, the most of any ship
on the Yangtze River, and all have balconies.
