ITINERARY
DAY 1 - LONDON TO OKAVANGO DELTA
South African Airways overnight flight from Heathrow via Johannesburg to Maun International Airport.
DAY 2 - OKAVANGO DELTA
On arrival you will transfer via light aircraft to the Xigera Airstrip and then on to your camp in the Okavango Delta. Stay in the Xigera Mokoro Trails camp in a dome tent for the next two nights. Enjoy the great wildlife viewing this unique wetland environment supports and sustains on game drives, island walks and mokoro trips. Xigera Mokoro Trails offers comfortable two man tents with en suite bathrooms with bucket showers. A lively camp fire and dining area create a friendly atmosphere ideal for sharing stories and experiences well into the night. (dinner included)
DAY 4 - OKAVANGO DELTA TO LINYANTI
After an early morning game activity, return to camp for your light aircraft transfer to the Linyanti Game Reserve, located in the north-east of the Okavango Delta. The area offers a variety of habitats including marshes, waterways, forests and dry woodland making it ideal for varied game viewing. The area is well known for its large concentrations of game, especially elephant. Enjoy an afternoon game drive upon arrival before spending the next three nights at the Linyanti Adventure Camp in a dome tent. En suite bathrooms with bucket showers are utilised at this camp and there is also a central campfire and dining area. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
DAY 7 - LINYANTI TO LIVINGSTONE
Rise early for breakfast at the camp before transferring by light aircraft to Kasane Airport. Here you will embark on a Chobe River cruise before transferring by boat to the River Club (Standard room) to stay for the night. The River Club is beautifully positioned along a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River and offers luxurious accommodation, a magnificent pool, great dining experiences and a wellness centre. This evening, enjoy a wonderful Zambezi sunset cruise. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
DAY 8 - LIVINGSTONE TO LONDON
After breakfast enjoy an excursion to the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the most spectacular natural wonders in this part of the world. Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your overnight return flight to Heathrow via Johannesburg with South African Airways. (breakfast included()
Mobile dome tented accommodation (3m x 3m), large enough to stand in and move aout easily. They are well ventilated with a mini veranda, shared bedside table and 12v reading lamp. Bathrooms are en suite and located through the rear of the tent. They have a bucket shower with hot water and short-drop toilet.
