Botswana holiday, but going just that little further afield can reveal even
more incredible sights from a country so rich in natural beauty.
The Nxai Pans adjoin the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park on its northern
border. The Pan itself is an ancient fossil bed dotted with acacia trees and
providing home to huge populations of springboks and giraffes amongst
other animals. During the wet season the pan is flooded and becomes
covered in grass attracting elephants and buffalo. Nxai Pan is also worth
visiting to see the famed ‘Baines baobabs’ and prolific birdlife including a
wide variety of raptors.
The lodges and camps on this safari offer very good locations and facilities
with lots of game viewing activities are included. Private reserves adjoining
National Parks mean that extra level of comfort and the opportunity to
